Jenna graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences (Honours). She continued her education at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON where she attained a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Following completion of her degree, Jenna moved to St. John’s, NL where she began a practice in orthopedics and pelvic health physiotherapy. She has since returned to her home province, Nova Scotia, to continue her career in physiotherapy at Synergy.
Jenna is skilled in the treatment and management of various musculoskeletal disorders and chronic pain, but her true passion lies in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. She has taken specialty courses in manual therapy, myofascial release, pilates, and Men’s and Women’s Pelvic Health. Jenna believes in a holistic therapeutic approach to treating pain and dysfunction. She uses a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to help her clients reach their health care goals.
Jenna likes to balance her active lifestyle with weekly yoga practice and mindfulness mediation. When not in the clinic, you can find Jenna out running, hiking, or walking with her daughter and dog, Juno.
