Osteopathy is “a natural therapy which aims to restore function in the body by treating the causes of pain and imbalance. To achieve this goal the Osteopathic Manual Practitioner relies on the quality and finesse of his/her palpation and works with the position, mobility and quality of the tissues.” (CCO). Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that can provide relief for a myriad of health conditions.

 

Who can benefit from Osteopathic Manual Treatment?

Osteopathic Manual Treatment is highly individualized and everyone can benefit from it's preventative and rehabilitative effects.  Your practitioner will take a full health history and perform a thorough assessment, to develop a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals:

Osteopathy can help with:

  •    Neck, back, and other joint pain

  •    Headaches and migraines

  •    Jaw pain, occlusion problems

  •    Chronic ear infections

  •    Sinusitis

  •    Symptoms resulting from concussion

  •    Digestive issues

  •    Pregnancy-related back/pelvic pain, swelling, digestive issues

  •    Asthma, bronchitis, and other respiratory conditions

Osteopathy is a taxable service, and HST will be added to all treatment prices.
