Bree Bates

Bree Bates

Bree (she/her) is a native of Cole Harbour, NS, where she was involved in several sports growing up, but long distance running is her passion. She was a varsity cross country and track athlete during her undergraduate degree at St. Francis Xavier University where she earned a Bachelor of Science with Advanced Major in Biology. She then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University, subsequently completing a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. 

Bree is a trauma informed clinician with orthopaedic and pelvic health interest and experience.  She also enjoys working with the sport, geriatric and neurological populations.  Bree has completed several advanced post-graduate pelvic health physiotherapy certifications and treats all genders.  Bree has a special interest, and post graduate training, in pre and postnatal fitness.  She has completed her dry needling certification through Acupuncture Canada (Levels 1 and 2), as well as her Stott Pilates Intensive Mat course, and integrates these skills into her clinical and teaching practice.
