Course Announcement: Assessment and Treatment in Pregnancy for the Orthopaedic Physiotherapist.
This practical course will teach assessment considerations for pregnant individuals presenting with orthopaedic symptoms or exercise inquiries. Course content includes prenatal assessment, manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, patient education, and taping techniques. A clinical assessment template will be provided. The course will provide ample practical sessions with instructor feedback. Prior experience in prenatal care or pelvic health is not required. This course is intended for orthopaedic or women’s health physiotherapists who would like to increase their confidence in working with the prenatal population
