How do I search for a specific class on Synergy Stream? On the top right hand where the videos are displayed, you will find the word “categories”. Click on “categories” to find a drop down menu, where you can search for a class by: • length of time (we have classes from 15 min to 60 min) • teacher (our whole Synergy team has classes to share with youJ) • class focus (ex. shoulders, core, spinal mobility) • prop (ex. weights, stability ball, miniband)

How often should I do a class? This totally depends on you. We have all different lengths of classes, from a short 10-15 minute routine that you could do every day, to 45-60 minute classes that you may choose to do once or twice a week. If you want to create a movement habit that sticks, make sure to plan Synergy STREAM into your daily/weekly schedule. Here is a great example: Monday – 30 min hip class during lunch break or after work Tuesday – 30 min walk + 15 min spine mobility routine before bed Wednesday – 15 min upper body strength class during lunch break or after work Thursday – REST day Friday – 30 min core strength class during lunch break or after work Saturday – 45 minute whole body class Sunday – REST day

How do I know which level I am?If you are new to exercise or pilates, we encourage you to start with our Level 1 and All levels classes. This will help you build a foundation of strength, technique and knowledge, to safely progress to more challenging classes. Everyone’s journey and goals are different. Some people will start at level 1 and progress to level 3, and some will benefit most sticking to Level 1 classes. The most important goal is to MOVE MORE, keep learning, and listen to what feels good in your body.

What if I have an injury? You are in the perfect place. All of our classes are taught by experienced Physiotherapists. We incorporate lots of modifications and tips in our classes, to ensure your safety, and to support your recovery. If you are brand new, have a new injury, and are looking for more individual support, we’d be happy to do a one on one consultation at the clinic, or online. We can help you focus on the best classes for you, suggest modifications that you may need, and also give you a personalized home program to facilitate your recovery.

Do I need any equipment? Many of our classes do incorporate some simple equipment you can find around the house. For example: chair, water bottle/cans, balls, pillows. In level 2 and 3 we start incorporating more props. If you are looking to purchase anything for your home practice, you can find a list of recommended "studio props" on our website homepage (click icon on top of page). You'll see a list of props we have in stock at the studio, as well as the full list of props we use and where to buy online. In each class description we list the props needed for the class, so you are ready.
