Ryann Pinkerton

Ryann is a movement lover that specializes in Pilates to enhance your mind, body, and soul. She began her movement journey studying Theatre in university, focusing on Physical Theatre and Circus to tell captivating stories using the human body as the main vessel. Her love of performing led to opening her own aerial silks company that performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and across the Southern United States. She caught the travel bug, found love, and moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia where she has been teaching Pilates and Barre both in studios and doing private sessions in her new home studio. Being someone who struggled with injuries throughout her performance days, she was drawn to the challenging movement style of Pilates that fits ANY and EVERY body. Ryann uses the Stott Pilates principles mixed with movement philosophies from her physical theatre explorations to create a joyful movement experience that is centered around alignment, body awareness, and FUN! She is always learning new movement disciplines, and growing her offerings to share her love of movement with you. Movement is Ryann’s passion, and she hopes you’ll join in on the fun!
